The cost of a place on the course is £300 (plus VAT) per person.
The basic course offered by Phlebotomy Training Services LTD is currently accredited by Aim Group. Aim Group is an educational awarding body is widely recognised across the UK and Ireland.
However, there are certain areas within the UK, specifically in Ireland, where NOCN is a more recognised accrediting body.
Therefore, PTS created the NOCN Unit Certificate Update Course, which is one of the units from the full NOCN Level 3 Diploma also supplied by PTS.
This online course is available to anyone that has passed the basic course and has their One Awards Certificate. By passing this online course you are awarded a NOCN Unit Certificate (which is recognised by NARIC Ireland and is comparable to awards at level 5 on the Irish National Frame Work of Qualifications).
How does the NOCN Unit Certificate Update Course work?
To take this course you must first register interest and supply your basic course learner number (which is visible in the bottom right of your certificate or if you have misplaced call the office and we can supply this).
Once we have verified your learner number we will email you the payment form.
When payment has been received we will email you a link and password to access the online course platform.
Upon completion of the course will send you your NOCN Unit Certificate within 8 weeks.

Alison is a phlebotomist of over 15 years experience who has worked in hospitals and GP practices across the NHS. Alison is an expert in venepuncture and cannulation, and is also a trained teacher. Alison earned her Certificate in Education in September 1995.
