The cost of a place on the course is £400 (plus VAT) per person.
We are now able to offer candidates who have successfully completed our Level 3 Basic Phlebotomy Course the opportunity to experience taking blood from real patients in a number of GP surgeries and Hospitals around the country.
The Clinical Experience sessions involve taking bloods from patients whilst being supervised by one of our mentors.
Phlebotomy Training Services will arrange a day that suits yourself and the surgery. You will see patients every 15 minutes.
On completion of the course we will award you with a record of achievement along with a full report from your mentor.
You will also receive a Phlebotomy in Practice Certificate if you reach the standard required by the awarding body.

A Hep B vaccination record

*If you are currently working in healthcare you may already have insurance cover from the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). If that is not the case you will be able to gain insurance from National Association of Phlebotomists.

Phlebotomy Training Services (PTS) was founded in July 2007 by Alison Purkiss (Cert Ed). Alison is a phlebotomist of over 15 years experience who has worked in hospitals and GP practices across the NHS. Alison is an expert in venepuncture and cannulation, and is also a trained teacher. Alison earned her Certificate in Education in September 1995.
