In 2007 Phlebotomy Training Services was founded. Alison Purkiss, the founder and a qualified phlebotomist herself, noticed that there was a lack of quality phlebotomy training available and decided to do something about it. So she founded PTS on a number of core qualities
First and foremost the focus is always on the student. At PTS we only use trainers who are fully qualified phlebotomists as well as educators. We also limit class sizes so there are no more than 6 students per trainer. By doing so we can ensure that you get the attention you need to become a qualified phlebotomist.
At PTS we can tailor our courses to suit any student, including commercial clients. In the past we have worked with a number of students who come from, or are going into work in the pregnancy scanning sector. Other commercial clients we have worked with includes:
One student had this to say about the course they attended:
I completed the basic and advanced course in Dublin. I would highly recommend the courses to anybody who is interested in training as a phlebotomist. I am starting my first day working as a phlebotomist in the morning thanks to Steve, Emily, Alison and Andrew.
