In 2007 Phlebotomy Training Services was founded. Alison Purkiss, the founder and a qualified phlebotomist herself, noticed that there was a lack of quality phlebotomy training available and decided to do something about it. So she founded PTS on a number of core qualities
First and foremost the focus is always on the student. At PTS we only use trainers who are fully qualified phlebotomists as well as educators. We also limit class sizes so there are no more than 6 students per trainer. By doing so we can ensure that you get the attention you need to become a qualified phlebotomist.

Phlebotomy Training Services (PTS) was founded in July 2007 by Alison Purkiss (Cert Ed). Alison is a phlebotomist of over 15 years experience who has worked in hospitals and GP practices across the NHS. Alison is an expert in venepuncture and cannulation, and is also a trained teacher. Alison earned her Certificate in Education in September 1995.
