Phlebotomy Training Services are the original, longest established and most widely recognised suppliers of nationally accredited and standardised phlebotomy training.
We were founded in 2007 by Alison Purkiss. A practicing phlebotomist herself, she realised that there was something missing from the current training available in the UK and sought to do something about it.
Since then, PTS has gone on to develop a number of courses tailored to the specific needs of corporate clients.
We have worked with a number of commercial clients in the past, and find the following industries are often in contact with us:

- Scientific Research Establishments
- Occupational Health Providers
- Sports Scientists
- Professional Sporting Clubs
As we can tailor our services to the client we are able to facilitate in-house training here at PTS, or we can easily travel to any site, anywhere. We can work with complete beginners, fill-in knowledge gaps or compliment the knowledge your existing team has.

Phlebotomy Training Services (PTS) was founded in July 2007 by Alison Purkiss (Cert Ed). Alison is a phlebotomist of over 15 years experience who has worked in hospitals and GP practices across the NHS. Alison is an expert in venepuncture and cannulation, and is also a trained teacher. Alison earned her Certificate in Education in September 1995.
