There are a few phlebotomy training providers in the UK, but Phlebotomy Training Services like to think that we offer something a bit different, a bit more, than they do.
PTS were founded in 2007 by Alison Purkiss. A trained phlebotomist herself she noticed that there something missing in the way that Phlebotomy training was provided in the UK. So she set out to do something about it. 10 years later we’re still going strong.
Phlebotomy training services were founded on the foundation of quality training. The student come in front of everything else. To ensure that we could uphold this foundation we only ever use trainers that are fully qualified phlebotomists and educators themselves. We also have a policy of never having more than 6 students per trainer, ensuring that you receive the attention you need to pass the course first time.
We also try and use trainers with as much experience as possible. By doing so we can ensure that the training provided is relevant, on point and will properly equip you for life as a practicing phlebotomist.
We are also one of the only phlebotomy training providers whose courses are certified by One Awards, and will allow you to work as a phlebotomist upon completion of the course.
As we are amongst the most experienced training providers in the country we can offer things that others can’t. For example, if you wish to further your knowledge and practice of phlebotomy then you can take our advanced course. And if you want to gain even more qualifications and be classed as a medical professional you can undertake our Phlebotomy Diploma; the only course of its kind available.
