The main thing that sets Phlebotomy Training Services apart is the quality of the training we provide. The trainers we use are not only qualified phlebotomists, but also qualified educators. This means that we educate and train in an understandable way. We also have a policy of having no more than 6 students per trainer, to make sure that you get the attention you need in order to pass the course and gain your qualification.
How do we judge this? Well, the number of people passing the course is a good indicator. But we like to look at the feedback we receive as a better judgement. Sure, they might have passed the course, but if they didn’t enjoy learning to be a phlebotomist, or find work afterwards, then did we really do our job?
Well, below is some of the feedback we have got recently.
Hi Emily,
Just wanted you to know that I have got a job at the Derby Royal Hospital as a phlebotomist. I start at the end of the month. I want to thank you for all your help in training me as you’re a brilliant mentor. Thanks again x.
Kind regards,
S H
I completed the basic and advanced course in Dublin. I would highly recommend the courses to anybody who is interested in training as a phlebotomist. I am starting my first day working as a phlebotomist in the morning thanks to Steve, Emily, Alison and Andrew.

I attended the training course in Birmingham with Olivia. The course is fantastic and would highly recommend it. I love the fact you can practice as much as you need to during the practical sessions, it builds your confidence for the assessment. The theory work is also rewarding as you learn so much in just 2 days. Olivia is an amazing tutor. She was so friendly and helpful. No question was left unanswered. Olivia gave me the confidence to do well on my final assessment which I got top marks on. The course as a whole is so rewarding and I would recommend anyone to take part in it.

I attended the phlebotomy training course in Birmingham on 7th and 8th January lead by Jo. I could not recommend it more, the balance between theory and practical work was spot on. Jo was such a friendly and inviting tutor who made me feel relaxed despite my nerves when handling all of the equipment. She has managed to build what little confidence I had, to the point where I feel fully confident to go into a phlebotomy clinic straight away and get stuck in. Thank you so much to PTS and especially Jo for this amazing new skill, I’m one step closer to fulfilling my goal of becoming a HCA.
