Accredited Phlebotomy Training

Phlebotomy Training Services is the only company in the UK to offer educationally accredited phlebotomy training. Our courses are accredited by the Open College Network North East Region, part of the National Open College Network, which is the leading credit-based awarding body in the UK.

Unfortunately, some companies offer non-accredited phlebotomy training courses to customers, and can only offer you a certificate of completion or attendance if you finish their course. It is recommendable that you avoid these courses, as information is often inconsistent and unverified. The certificates you receive after the course are not usually recognised by employers either.

Teachers - Not Trainers

Phlebotomy Training Services is one of the only companies to insist that all of their tutors are not only experts in their field (Most of our tutors have over ten years of experience in the subject they teach) but are also trained teachers. Our phlebotomy teachers not only have the skills and expertise you require, but have years of teacher training, and understand the best way to pass information on to their students in a fun, varied and concise manner.

Always ask a training company who will be delivering your phlebotomy course, and what makes them qualified to deliver training to you. They should be teacher trained, and they should be phlebotomy experts.

2 teachers for the price of 1

If you attend a Phlebotomy Training Services venepuncture course, you don't just get the help of one highly trained phlebotomy teacher, but you get the help of two. Every PTS practical session is delivered by two teachers, so that you get as much time as possible to perfect your technique under the watchful eye of your teachers.

The industry standard is to have one trainer to every twelve students (1:12), but some companies can have as many as twenty-five students on one course and only one trainer (1:25)! During practical sessions, PTS guarantee that there will never be more than six students to each PTS phlebotomy teacher (1:6).
