Advanced Phlebotomy for Practitioners Course
Accredited with: The 'OCNNER' at Level 3
This course is accredited by the OCNNER, and is one of the only educationally accredited phlebotomy courses in the UK. It teaches students advanced venepuncture and cannulation skills that help them develop their career as a phlebotomist. This is an essential course for healthcare professionals who are eager to offer the best quality of care for even the most difficult patients that they may face.
This course will be delivered by an experienced phlebotomy teacher who has expertise and experience dealing with a wide variety of patients using venepuncture and cannulation.
All of our course tutors are also trained teachers, and either hold, or are working towards their Certificate in Education. Our tutors are experts at passing on their skills to you quickly and clearly.
Am I Suitable To Attend This Course?
This course is suitable for individuals working as healthcare professionals in the UK and regularly taking bloods within a clinical environment. This course is also available to anybody who has completed our Basic Phlebotomy Toolkit Course.
What Will The Course Cover?
The course has a duration of 7.5 hours, and is will run between 9:30am - 5:30pm. The course includes:
- Butterfly Technique
- Small Gauge Needles
- Small Veins
- Paediatric Phlebotomy
- Difficult Patients
- Cannulation
- Blood Cultures
- Glucose Tolerance

When And Where Will You Be Running This Course?

How Much Is This Training?
The course fee for this course is £235 including VAT. This covers all of your direct costs, and there are no hidden charges for equipment, certification etc.
How Can I Book A Place On One Of Your Public Courses?
We accept a maximum of 10 candidates per course, and our places are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. To book your place on one of our courses, you can use one of the following methods:
