'The Skills Pledge'
The Skills Pledge
Our commitment to developing our workforce
Phlebotomy Training Services' commitment to investing in its staff's potential was again demonstrated when our company signed up to ‘The Skills Pledge’. The Skills Pledge is a government backed scheme in which organisations make a voluntary, public commitment to invest in the skills of their workforce.

PTS Managing Director, Alison Purkiss, signed the pledge on Friday 29th January 2010, committing PTS to developing the potential of all its employees by enhancing their basic skills and helping them achieve relevant, valuable qualifications. PTS will actively encourage and support its employees to work towards their first NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent, or even higher!
PTS Managing Director Alison Purkiss said, “The success of Phlebotomy Training Services is down to our highly skilled team of tutors, technical assistants, and office staff. This commitment to our workforce is what sets us apart from other private training companies, as we are dedicated to giving something back to our staff, and encouraging them to reach their true potential. 'The Skills Pledge' is just part of what we want to do to give something back to our team.
We want to provide our hardworking and caring staff with real opportunities for development. Therefore, as well as offering all of our level 2 & 3 phlebotomy courses to our staff, we also source external training to help our team to grow personally & professionally. Signing the skills pledge is a formal commitment that PTS will continue to maintain the highest standards of staff development.”
